M-Files integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook, which enables users to easily save emails and/or email attachments to M-Files by simply dragging and dropping files to M-Files folders directly within the Outlook interface. M-Files detects duplicate messages and automatically tags messages with metadata, such as the associated customer and contact person. In addition, M-Files dynamic folders in Outlook can be configured to automatically further classify messages with additional metadata, as well as initiate workflows and business processes. Email conversations (or threads) are also automatically linked, and Outlook rules are supported for automated email processing.
